Data Manager - Central London

Global Media Network requires a Data Manager to join their team in London and manage the delivery of digital data for a top client.
The agency is a fully integrated media network with an outstanding turnover. The network consists of offices located globally in order to give their clients a competitive advantage across marketing and branding.
The Data Manager will be responsible for coordinating data collection and processing across a number of data sources, markets and templates into a central consolidated data repository and reporting tool for client access and monitoring. This role manages the delivery of a bespoke digital data depository tool across markets and will provide maintenance and build of other dashboards and tools on agreed client timelines.
The successful candidate can expect the following responsibilities;
- Managing the data harmonisation process of collecting data, verify templates, process the data to comply with data architecture, upload the data and ensure the online-tool meets expectations
- Coordinating with data builders in-charge of dashboard delivery
- Ensure timelines are adhered to for each market by monitoring and project managing the build, refresh and verification process
- Collaboration with various 3rd parties (agencies, clients, etc) to enable a smooth data audit, build and launch process
- Manage and update client and agency dashboard user list and permissions
- Campaign tracking
- Continually assess and improve data practices and processes
Interested candidates must offer the following to be considered for interview;
- Over 2 years of practical work experience in management consulting, marketing, advertising or interactive/technology consulting in an analytical (quantitative) role
- Proven data coordination, management, manipulation and visualisation skills
- Data management skills (preferably using SAS, SQL server, Access, Omniscope, etc)
- Good knowledge of automated data connectivity, e.g. via APIs
- Experience of digital marketing campaign tracking and analysis (e.g. using adserver or bid engine data)
- Good working knowledge of enterprise-level web analytics solutions (e.g. WebTrends, Omniture, etc.)
- Project management skills including managing large scale data projects across countries and data sources
- Advanced Excel skills (ability to build Pivot tables, Lookups, Filters, and Graph data)
- Strong spoken and written communication skills
- General knowledge of database design and applications
