Europe’s leading independent Search Marketing specialist is recruiting again at their London HQ, this time for a Link Building Project Manager to support the entire SEO Division.

The Link Building Project Manager is the focal point in the agency’s link building service delivery, being responsible for the facilitation, management and reporting of all link building activities. The role can be broken down into three functions as below.

- Contribute to the creation, planning and forecasting of the link building campaigns for clients as part of the overall SEO Strategy

- Ensure the goals of the link building campaigns are achieved as efficiently as possible by project managing whichever teams or individuals that are deemed most appropriate for that campaign

- Provide an appropriate level of reporting on link building activity to various stakeholders in the business, e.g. link activity reports for account managers, profitability reports to senior management etc

Central to the role is the management and coordination of all link building activity across multiple link building teams, requiring strong people skills, diplomacy, a firm but fair approach to managing others, an excellent eye for detail, a process driven approach to work and the ability to multi-task and balance the demands of many different job aspects.

The Link Building Project Manager will be judged on accurate and timely reporting and analysis, improvements in speed to market of link building activities, reduction of levels of error and waste within the link building activities and delivering efficiencies in link building activities by reducing the average cost per link without compromising the level of service.

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate knowledge, ability and promise in the following areas:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A firm but fair approach to managing others.
- An analytical mind with an excellent grasp of numbers and attention to detail.
- Adept with the relevant software, i.e. Excel.
- Process driven and ability to instill those processes in others.
- Organisation, time management and the ability to work with a high degree of autonomy.

Candidates will ideally have a passion for and familiarity of SEO, particularly link building, and more generally the wider field of Search Marketing, although SEO knowledge is not a pre-requisite.
